Konstantin Grcic was born in Munich in 1965. He is one of the leading figure of contemporary industrial design.
After studying at the Royal College of Arts in London from 1988 to 1990, he worked for Jasper Morrisson and then found his own company in 1991 in Munich.
He has designed many objects for Agape, Cappelini, Driade and Flos.
His minimalist creations which mix strictness and humour are present in most museums’ collections, like that of New York Museum of Modern Art and Paris Centre Pompidou.
